I was very skeptical about the magnetic attachment of this case, but it has no problems staying on. If you accidentally try to open the wrong side, it will lift up, but it's never come off candidly.My old case had a fabric sleeve for the pen. I was worried about losing that feature, but the pen sticks to the remarkable itself just fine, since the case doesn't cover the connection point.My only qualm is that it collects grease marks pretty easily. Apart from that, it's a good cover. I can't speak on protection, because I don't drop my remarkable, but I imagine it's not terrific.

I decided to purchase this cover because my original one started to show unsightly pilling on the inside, which looked unkempt and was slightly unpleasant to use. This case functions just as well as the original one. The magnetic securing mechanism holds the Remarkable 2 firmly in place, whether it’s held sideways or upside down, providing a sense of security. The material feels decent, very similar to the original cover, and it maintains the same slim and lightweight profile. The combination of the cover and the Remarkable 2 is just as convenient to carry as before. I didn’t notice any apparent downsides during use, and the price seems reasonable high (there are some cheapter options on Amazon for about 25% less for no apparent reason) for what you get. Overall, it’s a solid replacement for the original cover while being a lot cheaper. Slim and lightweight, but protective enough for everyday use. The built-in magnet works well to keep the case closed. The folio design makes it feel like a real notebook, which is a nice touch. The material feels durable and doesn’t show fingerprints easily.

This case exceeded all expectations I had!Not only is it solid quality, it is sleek and unnoticeable which I personally love.I love that the case doesn't make it inconvenient to quickly access the pen - it actually has a cut out slot specifically so this does not happen.I've had this case on for quite a while now with a few accidental drops and have had no issues.10/10 from me.
