This refrigerant leak detector has been used on several vehicles. When reading reviews I was hesitant based on some of the things I read. Hopefully my review will help you understand how fantastic this thing is. I paid full price for this and I’m not receiving any compensation for leaving this review. I am giving this such a glowing review because of how simple and effective it is. I used this first on an R134a Ford E250 superduty. This detector found the leak within 30 seconds. There was a small crack in the front of the condenser between the fins. I have also used this on 1234YF refrigerant vehicles. The first one I used it on was able to locate a leaking Schrader valve within five seconds. If I were to break or lose this tool I would absolutely purchase another one. Note, this thing charges via USB-C very quickly. The tone this emits when approaching the leak is extremely handy, you don’t even need to look at the screen to pinpoint the area.
