I bought this as a spare when touring as they are little hard to get hold of. Watch the size, there are various sizes. You definitely want this type and not the older style cantilever type that is a single cable length with a V at the top. THIS type is safer, if the cable brakes it's likely to come apart, the other type is likely to dig into your tyre and lock your wheel unless it's protected by someiihng, which can be very nasty.
