Ich bin mit dem Kettenspanner sehr zufrieden. Er läuft bei mir ausgesprochen ruhig und mit nicht merklichem zusätzlichem Widerstand. Es gab noch nie Kettenabwürde. Ich bin mit diesem Kettenspanner nun sicher schon 2000km bei jedem Wetter gefahren und hatte keine Probleme. Auch das Rad aus Plastik zeigt keine Verschleißerscheinungen. Durch das Salz im Winter hat sich jetzt ein wenig Rost auf der Querstange gebildet, aber die Funktion unbeeinträchtigt.Dieses Teil ist unzerstörbar und tut seinen Dienst.

Solid component that works well in tensioning the chain of a single speed (freewheel) bike. Using a flip-flop wheel in a traditional roadbike however doesn't leave much margin for error and careful adjustment is required as there is a limit on the outward position of the small sprocket arm. Equally adjusting in the other direction can clause the arm to snag the wheel spokes. All that said, if you take care and spend time on adjusting you can probably run a snag-free, straight chain line.

Mancava solo un tendicatena efficiente per terminare un progetto iniziato nei cupi giorni del lockdown del 2021: la trasformazione di una MTB bianchi ibex del 1992 in single speed.Il rapporto che ho scelto è un 34:18,abbastanza corto e quindi adatto ai percorsi piuttosto ondulati della cittadina pedemontana in cui vivo.Lavorandoci nei ritagli di tempo, questo lavoro l' ho finito solo questa estate, ma il primo tendicatena che ho usato spesso faceva cilecca: la catena saltava. Eppure il prezzo era molto simile a quello di questo modello che recensisco, che è effettivamente un po' rumoroso, non che l'altro fosse molto più silenzioso, ma non perde un colpo........ di pedale. L'ho provato anche su pendenze maggiori del 12 % e va benissimo.La molla genera una tensione simile a quella del deragliatore posteriore.Se l'avessi acquistato subito avrei risparmiato soldi e qualche piccola frustrazione.Scrivo questa recensione perché finalmente ho completato il mio progetto e, senza questo piccolo pezzo, non sarebbe stato possibile.
