The listing says this stand is made out of aluminium in one paragraph and then stainless steel in the next. It’s actually made of aluminium with all surfaces finished to a high standard with a powder coating. The provided bolts are all stainless steel.The listing says that this mount is suitable for the mini and the latest V4 dishes. I have the mini, not the V4, but looking at the V4 I can’t see how this Xlttywl will fit that model as well. But I could be wrong.Xlttywl say their bracket can easily and securely attach…..yes, the fitting of the dish to the mount is easy, but the fixing of the mount to your vehicle roof isn’t that straightforward. Two holes need drilling through the car roof and depending on where in the roof you drill the headlining will need removing to attach the nuts to the bolts. Alternatively you can drill through the headlining but then the end of the bolt and nut will be visible on the inside of your vehicle and be an eyesore and a danger to your skull should you hit your head against it. A suction mount is available on Amazon for less than £20.00 that this Xlttywl fitting can be attached to, to save putting holes through your vehicle roof.This mount, at £58.99, is not cheap. And is even more expensive if you decide on the suction mount option. But if you want a very secure, well made option of attaching your Starlink Mini, that will last a lifetime, then this Xlttywl model is the one to go for.

A solid, extremely well-built item. Should last a lifetime.Very well constructed from alloy with an attractive wolf-grey powdercoat.I have already mounted this to the cam net rack of my ex-army Land Rover Perentie 4wd using the provided hardware an a pair of DIY backing plates. The starlink dish isn't going anywhere with this fitted. I'll be grabbing another one for the JK Jeep too.5 stars from me!
