Black aluminium framed sliding doors scratch easily on the part you step on, so bought a couple rolls of this to protect it - nice and sticky and grippy for feet. Recommendation to the seller - please give options to buy in longer rolls!

You don't get much of this door sill tape in the package (only 5ft) but that was just enough. The tape is great though!I installed it in +2C weather and it went well. I used a heat gun to warm up the door sill, cleaned it with alcohol and then installed the tape. I could remove and reposition the tape several times with no issues. To go around the edge, I briefly hit it with hot air from the heat gun on low setting and it easily folded over. Once I was happy, I once again used the heat gun on low setting to lock it into place. Uniform adhesion and no bubbles!The black tape on the door sills looks like it came from the factory. Very clean look and it also feels thicker than clear film. This is the third option I've tried and it's by far the best look and easiest install. Hope this helps!!

I was looking for cheap alternatives for door bumper guards as I have long legs and have a habit of scuffing the inside door panel when I get in and out of the car.This product is exactly what it looks like : durable protective tape. Just had enough to apply to 4 doors on a subaru outback. I got 60"x2.75, see pics for roughly how much that is and size. Been on for at least 2 weeks in cold weather, no issues, adhesion strong.Pro:- easy to install- protects against scuffs or scratches- high quality, not done garbage adhesion or material.- multi purpose, not just car, can be high scratch impact areas like wall on garageCon:- paper thin, don't expect it to protect against impact of any kind.- short length, just barely did 4 doors, expect to use 2 rolls for larger vehicles and if you're bad a measuring.

This is exactly what I needed to protect the rocker panels of my truck from getting in and out constantly. Very thick and durable. The adhesive is very strong and lays out nicely.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5)I used this XPEL Door Sill Guard on my Ford F-150, and overall, I’m happy with the product. The adhesive went on easily and held securely, and the film looks great, providing solid protection for my door sills. It’s definitely doing the job in terms of preventing scratches and scuffs.The only downside is that I had to purchase another set because the kit didn’t have enough material to cover all four doors. The size is a bit short for my truck, which is why I deducted one star. But once I had the extra set, installation was smooth, and I’m now confident my sills are well protected.Would recommend, but just be aware that you may need to buy a second kit if you're looking to cover all four doors of a larger vehicle.
