Works great in my truck that doesn't have A/C. Screwed it to a piece of plywood and "stuck" it to that tray area on the top of my dashboard with the supplied double side tape. Just remember to turn them off once you stop for the day. Don't know how the truck battery would hold up over night.

I have a mixed review of this product.PROS:The car fans worked - simple on/off switchThe 2 USB ports workedThe flexible fan arms allowed the fan heads to be lowered to reduce view obstructionThe swivel heads worked to aim the air flowThe cigarette lighter plug worked - nice long power lineThe air flow was greatThe fan blade cage shielded the spinning fan from accidental finger pokingCONS:The 4 double-sided adhesive strips, which are applied to the underside of the fan base, failed to keep the unit from falling off the dash in less than 1 hour parked in the sun. The dash surface was cleaned and dried. The adhesive strips were applied and pressed down (hint: peel protective strip from one side - place in bordered spots - press down - peel 2nd protective strip - place on the dash and press unit down). The unit is designed so that slight curves in the dash do NOT prevent full adhesive contact - unit is slightly elevated above the dash (good). My dash is standard formed "plastic" (do not know the technical name). However, the adhesive strips solidly adhered to the dash...in fact were hard to peel off later.*** The problem is that after less than 1 hour parked in the sun, the adhesive failed to stick to all 4 spots on the unit base.Also, the swivel arms attached to the fans could not hold the fans up - adjusted them to hang down with fans tilted up so that they did not obstruct the driver's view - just driving down the road with normal road vibration resulted in the fans drooping down - this occurred after the car sat in the sun for less than 1 hour. Before that, the fans did not droop (interesting problem).PS: Re-applied the fan on the adhesive strips still attached to the dash and pressed the unit down as hard as I could. On the way home, the unit fell off the dash again while I was driving - dangerous.I returned the product for a full refund - very disappointed because the double dash fan worked so well and the strong breeze felt good - my passenger also appreciated the cooling breeze from the 2nd fan. Decided to not try to jigger a solution by using some kind of stronger glue to re-attach the adhesive strips to the fan base - did not want glue overflow to get on my dash.
