This adaptor is good for phones or camera. The mount is a clip-on type which is big enough for pro max phones. The quality of make is really good. Everything is solid and rigid. The lock is secure and firm, so even if you camera is heavy it will not slip. There are plenty of holes for you to screw onto your tripod at different directions. It uses a standard thread size so it should fit most tripod. A great adaptor for upgrading an older tripod or adding phone mounting capability.

The ball mount part is very well built and I feel like I can trust it with heavier items. The mounting point at the top can be unscrewed and flipped around to be used as a phone clip, however the phone clip mechanism is flimsy and feels like it's going to break easily.
