Als u zich zorgen maakt over de beveiliging van uw laptop, kunt u misschien proberen deze met een slot te monteren. Laptopslot kan niet alleen worden gebruikt voor laptopcomputers, maar ook voor projectoren, monitoren en andere apparaten met 3 mm* 7 mm vergrendelingsgaten.

The hooks wont fit into any of the Kensington slots that Ive tried it on. The steel wire looks like you could cut it with a pair of wire cutters and the lock mechanism could be easily pried apart with a screw driver.

Le câble et le verrou paraît peut résistant. C'est ok si vous voulez vous protéger contre les vols opportunistes mais très insuffisant pour se protéger d'un voleur un peu organisé.

In meinem Fall war der "Startcode" 0100 statt dem angegebenen 0000 Code... was ich binnen einer Minute erschütternd einfach "erfühlen" konnte... Wie bei allen Schlössern dieser Art halt wirklich eher ein "ich möchte bitte dass das Gerät da stehen bleibt" und keine Sicherung... andererseits muss es aber auch kein wirklich sicheres Schloss sein, da letztlich die Notebookgehäuse eh die Schwachstelle sind und bei fast jedem Modell ein kräftiger Ruck reichen würde...

Product works as described but the disappointment is instructions was not in English language and product was not flagged as for non English speaking only. Also, I bought security lock on amazon.co.uk, nonchalant attitude towards customer satisfaction. In order to learn how to reset security lock code I had to go back to advert and use the instructions on advert. Saved me suspected endless unanswered messages to seller. This slip need to be corrected. If I examined package carefully on receipt and realized the instructions was not in English then I would have returned product, unfortunately for me I had opened package.

This lock does not fit a standard Kensington Lock slot. I've tried with multiple laptops. It's too big.
