I own a Yamaha P45 amongst others (Roland mostly), which comes with built in support for half-pedalling, but without the actual pedal that supports it. It's a shame you have to get one seperately, but... this pedal is the one you're looking for.When you own an electric piano in the 400-500 range then this pedal will definitely get you close to the feeling of a sustain pedal of a 2k range electric piano. Just make sure before you buy one that your piano supports it.

自分はヤマハの電子ピアノを昨年買った。８８鍵盤で、鍵盤のタッチも本物と同じような重いやつ。で、付属のペダルを使用していたが、付属品ゆえにチープで不便。で、この純正ペダルと購入してみたが、やはり本物のピアノペダルに近く、使い勝手がいい。付属品との違いは使って見ないとわからない。それでも、この値段で買えるなら、買うのが賢明だと感じる。

On other Yamaha keyboards you may need to depress the pedal with the keyboard powered Off and then release the pedal once the keyboard powers On.Happy Piano Playing!
