I have recently had knee replacement surgery and I'm waiting for hip replacement surgery. As a consequence my mobility is not great and it's particularly difficult for me to get close to the floor.This long handled scoop has been absolutely wonderful for me. I can scoop the litter box from a standing position without any discomfort. The scoop is wide and capacious and, being made of metal, it's very tough. The handle is comfortably padded and is adjustable length. It can clear the whole litter pan in a few goes and the metal construction means it cleans up easily too.I ended up buying a second one because I have four cats and therefore two litter pans. I recommend this product unreservedly.

This is a lovely cat scoop (if lovely is an appropriate word!!), really sturdy and a good length if you cant bend. I have had to rely on help to care for my cats needs since I can no longer kneel or bend, this is perfect for my needs. It does not get dirty easily like plastic ones. People have grumbled that you cant sift unused litter from it - I use clumping granules (Pets at Home) and have no problem whatever. A friend has commented that it is ideal too for outdoor use as her cat uses the gravel on her path so this is ideal to unearth those delightful little hidden treasures!!!
