I have 2 Ikea metal shelves. I wanted to put wheels on them and wasn't sure about the size. So I took the level screw to a big chain hardware store, got the size Metric (M8X1.25) and ordered one set. Perfect fit, so I ordered one for the second shelving unit. You just screw them into the sleeve that goes over the leg, remove the leveling leg and screw in the wheels. Now I can just move the shelves with the stuff still on it. Don't have to remove everything just to move the shelves. I'm very happy with my purchase.Update: The wheels are great, no complaint there, but that shelving unit wasn't made to take those wheels. I sleeve that I screwed them into was fine, until I put stuff on those shelves. Those sleeves snapped right off. Legs are fine, wheels are fine. Now I have to get something to insert in there that's metal and it should be fine.
