Most people might opt for a cheaper Go set if they're just starting out like us, but because we knew this would not travel with us (therefore not lose pieces / get dinged up during travel) we decided to get one of the nicer sets for our living room, giving it a permanent home on our table.Really nice finish quality to the board. I'm not really an expert on what the pieces should be machined like but they seem really high quality also (rinse and dry them before use!) I think the idea is over time they absorb some of the oils from fingers and become more and more "marble like" for lack of a better term. The containers that hold the pieces are a little more cheaply made than the board but still nice and certainly nicer that what you'd see on a bargain set.The crazy thing is there are boards and sets that cost 2-x3x as much as this one (I guess for the more "pro" players or people with money to burn). But overall it's a great set because you can start on the 13x13 learner board for the first month or so, then when you get comfortable switch to the standard 19x19 board on the other side.The only complaint we have is the guide; it's a little thin on explanation at points and cheaply printed but still not bad / enough to get a start. Definitely recommend this set if you are interested in Go and want to commit to learning it and playing it often.

Très bien mais j’ai du faire un échange car le premier: un des bols était abîmé et l’ensemble semblait reconditionné au niveau notamment au niveau des pierres. Le nouveau reçu est parfait en tous points et c’est un bon rapport qualité prix, il est juste dommage que le contrôle qualité soit pas à 100%. Mise à part la gestion de l’échange c’est parfait et super réactivité d’Amazon comme toujours
