I have a Pro-Ject 6 Perspex SB with Project 9cc Evolution carbon fiber tonearm. I was getting some hum when it was connected to my CJ tube preamp's phono stage via phono interconnects with a standard grounding wire. It didn't bother me that much. It was only noticeable when the volume control was turned up and there was no music playing. Received this item; inserted it into the system, and, voila, no more hum. I was kind of surprised that this inexpensive cable was targeted at carbon fiber tonearms...anyway, works for me.

The items met expectations. They were used for an earth connection between a Pre-Amp and Amplifier system.
