I bought this to replace the hose in my pull-out kitchen mixer spray tap, hoping to save money against the cost of buying a complete new tap when my old one developed a leak due to a failed internal plastic pipe inside the flexible hose.The hardest part of the replacement job was removing the old hose, as this had to be pulled up through the undersink fitting ring and was extremely tight. I managed with some difficulty to remove the old hose in situ, and was pleasantly surprised that the new one fitted through easier than the old one. That saved having to take the whole tap unit off, which was great news.One caveat, the cone shaped screw fitting which attaches to the spray head itself was different from the illustartion on the product listing - instead of having a sealing rubber ring, it was plain metal and also a little smaller than my old cone fitting - so I just kept the old one and threaded it on to the hose before I fitted the hose as described above. If you need to do this too, remember to get the pieces on in the right sequence or you will have to repeat the job.Then it was a simple matter of tightening the screw thread end of the hose on to the tap mixer outlet (under the sink) and the hose fitting was complete, also using a new rubber washer (supplied). I used a 13mm open jaw spanner to hold the hose fitting, and long handled pliers to hold the nut part coming from the tap unit. Overall a half hour job, most of which was fiddling around trying to get the old hose out.Overall I'm very happy with this product, and especially since it saved me lots of effort in not having to remove the old tap and possible expense in buying a new tap.
