Packaging shouldn't be a major factor in a purchase, but in the case of this cabinet, it's actually worth its own five-star rating. Apart from the heavy duty corner protectors – two different types, doubled up – it came with two separate and substantial metal frames to protect the edges. Needless to say, there were no dents or scratches on the cabinet because it would have taken Godzilla to crush that packaging.The cabinet itself is pretty impressive, especially for the price. All the parts are packed inside and once you unlock it it's a five minute job to attach the casters and slot the rails into place.Pros:* easy to fit the parts* well finished, robust coating* smart unobtrusive design – fits equally well into an office or a living room* very smooth drawer action* stable* loads of space* excellent value – much cheaper than the equivalent quality from an office equipment supplierNo negatives, but I wish I'd accepted the delivery man's kind offer to put the package in place, because it was a struggle getting it upstairs on my own. (And I have the bruises to prove it... ) It's not lightweight, but that's part of what makes it so stable. I'd be confident buying office furniture from this range again.
