Lovely mat, non slip, great for yoga, excellent service

I received my new Yogi-Bare yoga mat only a couple of days ago. It was well packaged, the mat itself with a thick protective film cover and then surrounded by crunched up paper in it's Amazon cardboard box.The mat is as described. I have used it daily but as I have only had it several days cannot comment as to how long the lovely grippy surface with last. I do not practice hot yoga so can't comment on how it fairs in this form of yoga practice. I chose the black option as I thought the other colour-ways may show marks more easily. It is a fairy weighty mat but that is fine for me as I wanted this for my home practice. I like the print which does have the central line demarkation and pattern for assistance in asana placement. Found the size of the mat ok as well - I am 5ft 6ins and at 4mm thick is just what I wanted. I have added a second photo to show the reverse of the Yogi-Bare mat. I have only used the mat on a carpeted floor so far (largest space available to me!), and the back too is nice and 'grabby' to prevent a lot of movement. On carpet there is a bit of movement I have to say but this is minimal and I've not found it a problem at all. I suspect without carpet there would be no movement at all. I feel I should point out that just turning the corner of the mat over to show the difference in texture of the top and reverse of the mat, there was a small foldline in the rubber top afterwards though this disappeared after 2 days. It means however, that it needs to be rolled away carefully after use. I would imagine the mat would suffer if left for a few days with a fold in it. Rolling up the mat after using is easy though and once rolled, the mat holds this position well without a strap or bag, though as the mat doesn't come with either of these, you would have to purchase one if you did want to travel with it.With only having the Yogi-Bare mat such a short time I have not needed to clean as yet of course but the reverse of the label tells how to do this with lemon juice (added image of the label's instructions on this review for reference).I love my new Yogi-Bare Paws natural rubber yoga mat and hope that the wonderful grippy surface and indeed the mat itself. lasts me. Great mat, delivered very quickly and although it's not been in my possession long, would happily recommend it too.

Ich bin echt begeistert! Die Matte ist einfach perfekt!Ich praktiziere zum einen schnelles und energetisches Yoga und zum anderen auch yin Yoga.Die Matte verrutscht wirklich gar nicht, man hat durch die kleinen Einkerbungen auch bei schwitzigen Händen einen guten grip.Für yin ist die schön weich, bietet einen guten grip und eine gute Federung.Mein Freund nutzt die Matte auch für power Workouts und selbst für jumping jacks und ähnliches ist sie echt top!Ein schönes extra sind die eingekerbten Grafiken, die zum einen die Ausrichtungen unterstützen und den grip zudem verbessern. Und sie sehen natürlich toll aus!

I wanted to give this mat a good month of daily use before leaving any sort of review. Been using it over a month now and I can say I am a yoga Bare convert for life.I’ve owned some big name mats and to be honest, the yogi bare mat is even better at half the price. It’s light, the grip is amazing and the paw pattern is so stinking cute. It has lost a tiny bit of grip since I first bought it but that is to be expected. At some point we have to take responsibility in our practice and not solely rely on the mats grip.I clean it once a week with lemon juice and luke warm water and It dries very quickly.It doesn’t stretch like some other mat when I’m downdog or Warrior 2. It is seriously the best addition to any yoga practice.I will not be buying any other mat, the price and quality are unbeatable.

Ich kann die Yogi-bare Matte jur wärmstens empfehlen! Ich habe sowohl dieses dünnere Reisemodell als auch die dickere Matte in Gebrauch und ich bin mit beiden mehr als zufrieden!! So eine rutschfeste Matte hatte ich noch nie! Die Rutschfestigkeit is sowohl bei trockenen als auch bei feuchten Händen gegeben! Zusätzlich sind ganz einfach zu reinigen und haben ein schönes Design!Ganz klare Kaufempfehlung!!!!
