Like many other millennials, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time shaped my teen years and brought the series to the forefront of Nintendo's other beloved franchises. I still chuckle, remembering how many non-gamer siblings were taken aback that "Zelda" is not the male character you control in the game series, but rather the Princess that the main character (named Link) must rescue (Yes, fellow Zelda fans, I know Zelda has stepped up in some of the titles to aid the main character). So, when I saw this music box, I had to get it.This box plays the chorus line of the Song of Storms, but it does not play the song in entirety. The bells in the box are slightly out of tune as well. The tempo is also dependent on how quickly the box's handle is cranked. Anyone who's heard the Song of Storms, be it the original from Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, or any of the following Legend of Zelda titles will be able to quickly lock in the tempo of the song by experimenting with crank RPMs. Finally, some may balk that the "The Legend of Zelda" logo doesn't have "Ocarina of Time" added to it, since that specific game is when the Song of Storms made its debut.Yes, I've geeked out about this box and the game series, but I have a specific reason for doing so. Said reason is that even at my age, I come across fellow gamers that are extremely particular about video gaming merchandise. While I am personally very charmed by this music box, I do personally know a couple of millennial and Gen-Z gamers that would nitpick at this music box, for the points that I have raised, and others.Returning to my review title, this music box is VERY giftable. If you're looking at this with gifting to a gamer in mind, see if you can find out how particular they are. If they only want official, Nintendo-licensed merch that's carefully produced to accurately represent and/or reflect the game the merch represents, then they might fuss about this music box. This box is clearly NOT licensed by Nintendo, and I've already pointed out nuances of this box that aren't completely true to the game. But, if the recipient isn't highly strung about accuracy and they're at least familiar with the Legend of Zelda games, I feel confident in saying they will love this little music box as a knickknack to put on display. Finally, I want to touch on durability. This music box's exterior is formed from thin plywood. This gives the box decent sound projection (Note: when cranking the box, hold it by the top and bottom, not by its cylindrical sides), but I am certain that if this box were to be dropped on a hard surface or crushed that it would not survive unscathed. So, I wouldn't recommend this to a young child or someone that isn't careful with fragile items. For the record, this music box is decently packed for shipping.Again, I highly recommend this as a gift to someone that's familiar with The Legend of Zelda games. I almost wish I'd held off on getting this myself, and just put this box on a birthday or Christmas gift list; I would have been really happy to receive this as a gift!

Youtang Zelda:Song of Storms from Ocarina of Time Wood Music Box, Round Antique Engraved Wooden Musical Boxes Gifts for Lover, Boyfriend, Girlfriend, Husband, Wife(White)First impressions: Nice wooden box with a handle on one side and the words The legend of Zelda burned into the wood on top.Installation/setup: Take out of box, turn handle on side to make music.Final thoughts: I got this for my son-in-law who lives with me, he is the biggest fan of the Zelda video games I have ever met. He loved it, he said it was both the weirdest and the most awesome gift he had ever gotten. I like it and I would buy it again if I knew anyone else who would love it as much as he does.⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

This music box is decent quality for the price. The song isn’t perfect, but it still does a good job with the tune. It sounds like there is one part of the song missing but regardless it loops nicely for continuous play when spinning the handle. The quality of the music box itself and the wood etching is pretty good! It’s a nice piece to add to a Zelda fans collection.

A little smaller than expected, it was still a neat little music box for a classic Zelda tune. Fits in the palm of your hand and must be cranked to hear the music (no wind up play and you have to find that sweet spot to get the tune out properly). All in all, a neat little gift for you or a fan of Zelda.

Got this music box for my Zelda-loving kiddo, not recognizing the song name and, therefore, accidentally duplicating a music box he already has. *facepalm* That aside, the music box is cute and the box itself seems well made. However, the music box that we already had definitely sounds better than this one, so we won't be keeping it.
