Seemingly good quality molding and construction, very appealing price.Have been able to repair a damaged 12v 3a DC charger by replacing the factory molded barrel jack with one of these, quick and effective repair, done to a professional standard, fast.Has nice holed tabs for soldering your leads to and plenty of space for heatshrink to protect your connections should you wish to do so, there is even ample room to apply hot glue to the void before sliding the cover over, to provide even firmer support of your cable in the long run.Construction quality is above that of some factory barrel jacks purely due to its use of a solid center pin rather than the flimsy but flexible 2-finger approach seen on many of the factory molded center pins.On a device which gets charged daily, its a poor choice of the manufacturer, and as it is the second charger I own for said device, I figured I could check what failed with my previous one and repair it before doing the same on the now second failing charger.After cutting off the old plug and checking voltage with a multimeter I was seeing as expected (12.4v) with my test leads.This confirmed my suspicion of the molded dc plug from the factory being utter junk, and after replacing it with this, it confirmed such.Has a nice tactile click like feel when fully engaged in the socket, plenty long enough to prevent cable strain when unplugging, unlike the barrel jack it replaced.Fits very nicely into the tight recess of the devices socket despite the plugs external dimensions being quite a bit bigger than the flimsy molded original.Working beautifully.Now to do the other charger and I'll have two functional chargers once more. Happy days.

Nice looking item easy to fit But the positive is not 2.1mm but 2.38mm so you might have an issue with connection with the female side of the connection

This is misrepresentation The advert says 5 the packaging has a label saying 5 but the packet only contains one item making it very expensive having informed the supplier I have heard nothing if I could give it ZERO stars I would sales like this should be banned
