I wasn’t sure what to expect but the tires and tubes seem pretty good so far. The tires are fairly thick and stiff and were tricky to get started when mounting. Once started they went together well. The tire levers that came with it are almost too big for older road bike rims so I used my thinner ones and it made it easier. The tubes are just tubes but they worked fine and have a good length presta valve stem. Nothing to complain about so far.

Great tires for the price. I ride lots of miles in Las Vegas. The roads are covered with things that can pop tubes and tons of goat head thorns too. I have found flat protection similar to gator skins or other high end flat protection tires. Some people in other reviews complained about weight but I don’t notice it at all. Cool that it comes with some extra tubes too.

Im Paket enthalten sind zwei Mäntel in der angegebenen Größe, zwei dazu passende Schläuche, zwei stabile, breite Mantelheber sowie zwei Felgenbänder. Die Mäntel lassen sich gut auf herkömmliche Rennradfelgen aufziehen, bisher waren 700*23C montiert.Das "Heavy Duty" ist im Fall dieser Reifen wörtlich zu nehmen: Gewicht eines Mantels: 428 g, eines Schlauchs: 153 g, des Felgenbandes 26 g. Zum Vergleich mein bisheriger Mantel: 260 g .Beim Aufpumpen soll lt. Anleitung im ersten Monat mit 80% Druck gefüllt werden, erst dann mit 100%. Aber das bleibt ja jedem selbst überlassen.Nachteilig empfinde ich tatsächlich das hohe Gewicht bzw. dass dieses nicht angeben wird sowie auch die Verpackung: Reifen muss erst "entfaltet" werden und weist auch danach noch leichte Knicke auf (legen sich aber bei Gebrauch).
