ZEBRA F-xMD Ballpoint 1.0mm Silver 24380 - (2017 vervanger voor F-701)

This pen is my definition of a great value product. Been looking for an edc pen for ages, and wanted to figure out what all the hype was about (these pens and the f-701 come up often amongst edc enthousiasts). Did not dissapoint, even compared to some of my Rotring pens!

Very nice pen, but adhesive of sticker completely ruins the finish. :(

Comodissima penna che è resistente e scrive pure benissimo. Corpo di metallo forte permette di portarla dietro senza rischio di spezzarla neanche in fondo del cassetto di attrezzi. Inchiestro scende sempre bene senza macchiare. Ha anche un prezzo modesto ed è pure comoda in mano - per me ha tutte le caratteristiche che voglio da una penna!

I have exclusively used two writing instruments for years, the Staedtler Mars techno 2mm clutch pencil and the Zebra F-701. In 2018 when Zebra released the FxMD I slowly replaced all my F-701s, they were starting to look old and tatty. The F-701 and FxMD in my opinion is the perfect pen, strong and reliable, comfortable with a nice weight and cheap. I actually like using the Zebra F Refills, I find them very smooth and last me well. Although, I do swap out the refills for Fisher refills in the pens I use for site visits and outdoor tasks.I believe that the FxMD is the perfect pen for everyday carry and use. Especially for those that work in environments outside of the office; however, they are equally at home in the office.

This pen is built like a tank. I have carried this model pen since 2011 and bought this just in case I loose my original. My old one looks just as good in as the new one.Has enough weight to let you know it’s durable, but easy to write with for extended periods. I have tried countless pens Ranging in price from around $1000 down to giveaways and this is my everyday carry.I don’t have worry about loosing it because I like it so much I don’t let it leave my site.
