Come loaded with a 1 (one) lead, probably HB hardness. Leads I have a plenty but clutch pencils I lose or break regularly.If you don't have any 0.5mm leads, buy a pack of refills. HB is the most widely used lead hardness.The metal tube tip retracts as you write so, provided protects the lead from being snapped. Got an eraser at the end which works cleanly.As good as a well-known brand, 4 for half the price.The rubbery non-slip coating will go sticky after a few years - they're not made to last forever (but if you're desperate, a little alcohol (meths, surgical spirit or hand sanitiser) will remove it.What more could you want?Tip: only put a one spare lead in a clutch pencil, if the pencil rattles you've got a spare and when you lose it, you lose only one and a bit leads, not several.

Good price, and i like that it can be refilled when the lead runs out. I find the lead that can't with it to be a little tòo hard.

Never had a problem with any of them. Use them frequently and it is much easier than sharpening a traditional pencil. Very good value for money, although buying extra graphite it a must.
