Dopo quasi 5 anni di onorato servizio si è reso necessario sostutire il finale della pompa da pavimento Zefal!Inizialmente ero intenzionato ad acquistarne uno universale da decathlon ma la qualità, sempre molto scadente di certi prodotti, mi ha fatto optare per l'originale, ed ho scoperto che avrei dovuto sostituire l'intero cavo!La spesa è assolutamente accettabile poichè, l'intera pompa, costa il triplo essendo quella professionale!La sostizione è molto semplice, basta svitare il cavo alla base della pompa e scegliere, in base al modello FP XX, se bisogna usare l'adattatore che viene fornito assieme al cavo, oppure no. Nel mio caso, l'adattatore non è stato necessario però il cavo è visibilmente più corto rispetto a quello appena smontato (vedi foto)!IMPORTANTE: prima di avvitare il nuovo cavo, passare un po' di grasso sulla filettatura!La pompa torna a funzionare correttamente, ha soltanto bisogno di fare "la faccia" sulle valvole presta perchè risulta un tantino troppo stretto all'inizio.Valuto positivamente questo ricambio anche se la qualità è leggermente inferiore rispetto a prima.

Ich brauchte einen Ersatzschlauch für meine 20 Jahre alte Pumpe Rush Plus von Zefal und habe hier das richtige Produkt gefunden.Achtung: Am Schlauchende muss ein Gewindeadapter abgeschraubt werden, damit der Gewindedurchmesser past.

It takes some effort to undo the male connector adaptor at the end of the air hose to uncover the threaded connection. My pump was some 20 years old and had the original screw-in connection. I screwed the hose into the pump base, with a little effort, and I can inflate my bike tires again. The valve seal lift mechanism is quite stiff and needed some opening and closing to loosen it. Be careful not to break the plastic tab! That is what happened to the old one.

I bought this not to use with a Zefal pump but as an adapter for my car tyre inflator. I simply attach the Zefal hose to the nozzle on the car pump and that gives me a good long hose to get to the bikes which are mostly Presta. The switch from Presta to Schraeder valve works well and feels robust enough to last a good while.
