Een keer gebruikt en nu al stuk. Afwassen met zachte borstel en de zwarte beschermlaag laat los. Wil daarna niet meer in en uitschuiven.

For some unknown reason, this baking tray is not a one-piece thing. Its middle is "welded" and the result is that, if you have a thin batter, such as pudding batter, the baking tray leaks!Apart from that, the non-sticky coat looks more like just a black paint, because with the slightest touch it comes off. Also, with a one-time wash, all the corners of the tray became rusty.

So far I have made 2 very dfifferent cakes using this tin - one an enriched dough, the other with eggs and traditional raising agents and apples. Both cooked well in the tin, the central hole helps heat get to the thickest part of the cake. The enriched dough cake came out easily from a very well buttered tin, in one impressive piece . The fruit cake broke up a bit on turning out, but I fitted it back together while warm. I think this was because the apple pieces were quite large and the cake texture was more fragile. I might also have needed to be much more generous in greasing the tin. The tin is a good design, I think one needs to be sure cake ingredients such as fruit or chocolate chips are not going to affect the texture too much. I will go on experimenting. The cake shape when turned out is lovely and looks festive even with very simple decoration.

I’ve seen this baking tray being used several times on YouTube & found it to be from Germany. Found it to be of a very high quality, versatile & practical. Love it.

Die Gugelhupf-Form ist an sich super und macht einen gleichmäßigen Kuchen. Der Teig lässt sich gut einfüllen und die Form ist stabil. Der Kuchen bleibt fast immer in der richtigen Form, aber es gibt einen wichtigen Tipp: Die Form sollte wirklich gut eingefettet werden, bevor man den Teig hineingibt. Ansonsten kann der Kuchen beim Herausnehmen etwas hängen bleiben.Mit dem richtigen Einfetten klappt es aber hervorragend, und der Kuchen lässt sich problemlos stürzen. Alles in allem eine gute Form, die man sich holen kann, solange man diesen Tipp beachtet.
