Have used Gaia Guys eco washing-up tools for six months - what can I say ? The short bottle brush is excellent, , the bamboo pan scraper a revelation! This box set provides a well designed bit of kit! Making life at the sink so much more fun! Plus , this is a robust kit used daily and standing up to the job extremely well!

I am trying to not use plastic for anything. Converting to only use stainless steel, glass and natural fibers & organic where possible without too much expense.This set is an excellent alternative and well made.My only issue is the bottle brush doesn't fit into glass bottles mouths but works well for my stainless steel travel tumblers ive been using the set daily for about a couple months now and its holding up well no sign of wear and tear yet.

I am very much against chemicals and solvents so these are perfect and natural. A functional practitioners first choice!

Happy to be done with plastic but the large wand is pretty unwieldy. Wish it was a bit shorter. The shorter wand rocks though!

I love the idea of plastic-free, recycled and zero-waste household products - which is what this kit offers. All the elements do seem to live up to the promise of being better (or at least less harmful) to the environment than the mainstream options which involve a lot of plastic, nylon and polyester. The packaging is even a biodegradable brown cardboard box.The reason I have given this only 4 stars is that all the elements are ok, and they do function, but in a rather basic way. The brush fibres are rough, even when wet, and I don't think I would risk using them on delicate glass or ceramic, or cutlery. They are also pretty big (and oddly, the dish brush is shaped more like a toilet brush). The potscrapers can't safely be used in my opinion on nonstick coatings for fear of scratching. The sponges are the most useful part of the set, in that they are rough when dry but soften up when wet - they are a bit big for cleaning smaller items but work well on pots and pans.On the plus side, as well as their eco credentials, all the parts of the set have string loops for hanging them up to dry. So there is a lot to say about this set which is good, but it needs a bit of refinement in the design to be really great.
