I have to admit that I've been wanting to try a sleep bonnet for years now - yes, YEARS! - but have always been too afraid to. For one, I have a fringe (bangs) which would only get messed up inside a bonnet and two, I was absolutely convinced there was no way it would stay on during the night and that I'd wake up looking like a scarecrow!Having tried the bonnet for a while now and gotten used to it, I have to say that it works pretty well for staving off frizz but it does not always stay on during rough toss and turn nights. I sleep on silk pillowcases which is already much better for the skin and hair, so I wasn't sure how much difference incorporating a bonnet into my sleep routine would make, but when the bonnet stays in place all night, it does make a difference to how my hair looks in the mornings.As for my fringe, there's not much I can really do about that. I wrap the rest of my hair up, but have to leave my fringe out, lest it look absolutely awful come morning, but it's not a big deal to style my fringe as I have to do that daily in any case. The rest of my hair, I can let down from the braid I sleep in under the bonnet and I don't even have to style it most of the time and the waves last all day.Overall, it's probably a worthwhile investment if you suffer with frizzy hair and are/or are looking for a way to maintain your style overnight. Be aware the bonnet doesn't always stay on, though - it is a bit of 'trial and error' when you first get used to it and it can feel a bit strange the first few nights. I'd advise tying the bow at the top of your head rather than the back, as it seems to make the bonnet stay in place better and to not over-tighten it as this can leave indentations in your hair where the fabric has sat overnight.

The material on this bonnet is super thin, but still pretty good for the price. It looks great once you figure out how to get it in place - honestly, you could wear it when you're awake too, it's cute. It fits a LOT of hair and is pretty baggy if you don't have super thick locks, but it does protect and keep your mane snuggly-safe while you snooze. I thought because it's so thin and silky that it would just slide off, but it remained in place while I slept, which is impressive because I roll all over in my sleep.It's cute, it'll fit everyone and it's inexpensive. For such a low price, you can't complain.
