Always used vic firth 5bextremes but my daughter bought me pair these Taylor Hawkins sticks for Christmas. They are very well balanced and give that extra bit of power to the strike. The ball tip is hard wearing unlike the teardrop tips that soon splinter. Perfect rock drummer sticks. Using them from now on.
