Works as described. The safety button is a bit stiff and it's not that comfortable from beginning. However you get used to it. Very good product. Got the sugar on my creme brulee nicely browned and crispy.

Der angebotene Brenner von Zippo macht einen guten Eindruck hinsichtlich der Verarbeitungsqualität und Funktionalität.Der Tank ist groß und es gibt kein Fenster um den Füllstand einzusehen. Der Brenner kann auch über einen längeren Zeitraum von ca. 5 Minuten feuern, ohne dass sich das Gehäuse stark erwärmt, eine Lock-Funktion gibt es nicht.Beim nachfüllen tritt etwas Gas aus, wenn der Tank gefüllt ist, was ich etwas schade finde.Im Großen und Ganzen ein solider, zuverlässiger Brenner für Küche, Handwerk etc.

I went with a Zippo as they're well-regarded when it comes to producing a flame but clearly this is not for everyone...The safety trigger sits naturally between your thumb and index finger so it's mildly uncomfortable to hold and relatively difficult to press in. It's far stiffer than the igniter yet in such a position you can put less pressure on it. Once the trigger is down, you can release the safety catch which may be fine for extended use but constantly having to press the safety trigger during activities like soldering and wire crimping is tedious.The flame itself is nice; it's direct, not too large and burns smoothly. It gives off a good heat and does its job well.Filling with gas is inconvenient, there will often be a gas leak when refilling regularly which I understand, but you cannot tell when the torch is full, not without the initial knowledge of how long it takes to refill, so you end up spilling gas all over the place hoping its filling up. There's no obvious indicator as to when its full so I've probably wasted a lot of my gas and I don't know when I'll need to refill it...I'm forced to buy a different blowtorch as it's too inconvenient to use and will frustrate me more than anything else. Shame really, I had higher hopes for Zippo but perhaps this just isn't the product for my industry.
