Really Terrible Experience due to horrible smell. Skip this one and save yourself!! But let me tell you why:I am an avid online shopper that do a lot of research before making a buy...so when I do buy something I usually never ever have to return it...as I like it 99.999% of the time and do not entertain buyer's remorse. I also keep an open mind...so if something goes wrong in the shipping and I can fix it, I try that route first before thinking of a return.So, in the very rare occasions I do have to return something...it is either because 99% of the time it came damaged and 1% of the time the fit is totally off...but again because I do extensive research in several different places and spend many hours as time allows to read all the needed reviews over a period of time...I end up making a very informed and satisfying purchase.Alright, now that you have some insight on my buying aproach...I would say that this purchase has left me with a bad taste in my mouth...but in actuality a very very very very terrible smell in my nose...that I can't comprehend what it smells like.For some reason, it came with a really horrible smell thats mind bending and please note during my due diligence research I did see a few complaints regarding a smell issue. But reasoned to myself it couldn't be that bad, with all the other glowing reviews...and since I am such a flexible person...if I happened to be one of the few unlucky ones I would figure out a way to remedy it 🙃😅.Well let me tell you this is a NO, because never in my life have I encountered this impasse. I tried everything to get rid of the scent. That included but not limited to having it sit for a week hoisted on a wig head to air out, spray it with rose water and a bunch of other natural things.Then Finally resorted to washing it first in the washing machine with special Tide with a few other delicate things and then after that didn't work...decided I had to go one on one...and soak it in Tide soap then hand wash it.Now, it was only soaking for a few hours and when I went back the red dye in it bled out extensively...so this is not a hat you want to be caught in the rain with...it will likely run on your clothes.Anyhow, after all that the smell is still not completely gone and ofcouse taking it through such a washing experience that a hat like that would not appreciate...it looks like it is about to unravel...but ofcourse this wouldn't suit the shabby chic look at all 🙄 so I will not be able improvise with it...so I will be dumping it and going on the hunt for another similar hat from another seller.But in conclusion,you do not need this in your life.
