Got this rice cooker open boxed so the price was already fantastic compared to other companies. It’s super simple to use, just measure the amount of rice you want wash it and flip the switch. It’s also big enough to make rice for a family of 6. I highly suggest this

Love how easy it is to cook rice evenly in this cooker. Not fond of non-stick coating on cooking surface but that seems to be the norm these days, shamefully.

I bought this rice cooker when I saw a cooking tutorial on how to make the perfect Haianese chicken and rice. And it turned out really great. I got the largest capacity (10 cups) for the extra space to put the rice and all the chicken pieces in there. My son absolutely loved the delicious Haianese chicken I made in this Zojirushi rice cooker. I’m also going to use it to steam vegetables and make shumai and bao buns.

Was excited rice cooker was still available to replace 25 year old rice cooker. Just received delivery new rice cooker Made in Thailand not Japan, but if quality standards same all over for Zojirushi I'm happy... the inside center of cooker has a spring loaded mechanism, inner pot doesn't sit flat and moves around unless pot is weighed down, maybe spring is too high?! Will probably keep and use the new inner pot in the old rice cooker since cost for replacement inner pot same as a new rice cooker. Also got a serving spoon and steaming tray...

Finally replaced my other one after two decades. I replaced it not because it stopped working, but because the inner liner was all scratched up (and the cost of a replacement liner was not worth it). Love the super basic on/off/warm function. There has been a little adjustment period trying to figure out the exact amount of water to use - but I have heard that every rice cooker is slightly different, not to mention that my last unit was made over 20 years ago LOL.
