I've always used single-switch rice cookers, and you have to use the perfect ratio in order to even come close to a decent result.I've never been able to hold it more than an hour or so without the bottom becoming crispy, but with this rice cooker, it's more forgiving, as it soaks for 30 mins then cooks for the other 30, holding and releasing steam as it goes.I made white rice then added a homemade ragu after cooking, and it lasted nearly 24 hours before starting to get crispy on the bottom.Even if you only cook rice once a week, this is well worth the investment, especially now when it's only around $170.

La mejor maquina de arroz. Para hacer arroz de sushi, sientes que estas comiendo en Japon, pero también el arroz mexicano (caldo de pollo, tomate, etc) no hay forma que no salga perfecto cada vez. No es batata pero vale cada peso. Además puedes dejarla programada para tener tu arroz listo en la mañana o a cualquier hora. Por si fuera poco, y motivo de 5 estrellas, a mi hijo menor le encantó!

This has been a life changer. I was on the fence about getting a rice cooker, and this one is a bit on the pricey side. but it not only simplifies it to the extreme, but has so many settings and functionalities. I cannot recommend this enough to those who will pay for it, or like me wait for it to go on sale. Easy to use, easy to store and easy to clean.
