I have use it only a handful of times but I can say I love it! Cooks the rice to perfection. Is also easier to use that I would have thought. It does take a little longer than other rice cookers. For long grain and short grain take 60min. It's also so pretty and looks great. Is all Japanese design and precision. The only down side is that from the Netherlands is literally impossible to buy parts in case of need. Like a new inner pan. The only option in Europe is England and for that you have to buy the cooker in the page of another brand and have proof of purchase there otherwise they won't sell you parts. Other countries outside europe won't even ship worldwide.I am hoping it lasts many years without needing spare parts.

I had 2 other rice cookers in the UK, but the result of this one is very different and much better. I have Asian friends told me “the rice is perfect”. I had friends asking me “why is the rice so good?”. This machine has a “premium program” =15 minutes more rice cooking program. Fantastic results!And whole grain rice cooks perfectly too. Before this machine I have never managed to to have good result with whole grain rice and I tried different cooking methods and times.It also works as slow cooker, my previous slow cooker was bigger but I have now a smaller kitchen, the size works well for me.This item is expensive but if you eat rice often, it is a good purchase.

Der Reis gelingt wirklich sehr gut mit den Reiskocher.Im Vergleich zur klassischen Methode wird der Reis geruchs- und geschmacksintensiver auch ohne Zugabe von Salz.Für uns ist es jetzt richtig spannend sich durch die ganzen Reissorten der verschiedenen Hersteller zu Essen.Schade das wir nicht schon früher so ein Gerät angeschafft haben.

Pot started flaking inside after 6 months, not the first time with this brand. Didn't feel safe, decided to switch to Tiger and its ceramic pot.
