Edits and update: I changed to 4 starts.After several rides the bearings did became much more loose, albeit not equally between left and right. So for the price these pedals are very much OK!Decided to give these a try, despite having read quite some 4-3 star reviews and I have to conclude with the feedback some of it is quite on point.- The bearings: the axle rotates very stiff.After unpacking the rotation is not free and very stiff. Could be too high bearing tension in the axle, it's a machined assembly. Or the axle/bearing grease as become hard.Some sub 4 star reviews mention this. Thought it could be a production 'fluke' but it is not.Please take notice and consider this vs the price before buying!- The serviceability: you can NOT service or disassembly the axel or bearings!Considering the price, decided to void the warranty and take the bearing covers out to have a look at them.The axle and bearing are fully sealed. The product description is 100% correct on this.- The grip: this is actually good with pins that are not very sharp.Which imo is a pro as quit a lot of higher end platform pedals, with screw in pins, do damage soles shoe soles.

Ces pédales sont très bien construites,en aluminium, avec de très bons crampons pour éviter aux chaussures de glisser et elles sont montées sur roulements. Je m'en sers sur mon VTT. Excellent rapport qualité-prix !

I wanted a sturdy, quality pedal with built-in reflectors and a solid platform for my feet, and at a good price. These pedals met these requirements perfectly.

Those seem to be a good quality pedals, lightweight, good looking and providing good traction to the shoes and enhancing the visibility through the bits of reflective glass.The only negative is the way they have been marked L or R, those markings are barely visible so get a magnifying glass to find them.

Ware gestern bestellt, heute da…..was will man mehr.Sehr wertig in der Qualität und vom Material, sehen top aus und liegen gut in der Hand.Waren in 2 min am Fahrrad angebracht, völlig problemlos zu montieren, man muss sich nur die gegenläufige Montage merken:Rechte Pedale rechts rum festschrauben, also im Uhrzeigersinn, linke Pedale links rum festschrauben, also gegen den Uhrzeigersinn.Das Lösen der alten Pedale natürlich genau anders herum, wenn man sich das merkt, hat man auch kein Problem, die alte Pedale zu lösen, anstatt sie noch fester anzuziehen.Kurzer Fahrtest:Mein Sohn war begeistert, die Pedalen laufen super, sind etwas breiter als seine alten, wodurch er mehr Auflage für die Füße hat und wesentlich rutschfester durch die kleinen Stollen….er war einfach begeistert davon.Dazu noch die beiden stylischen Ventilkappen in Kupfer-Metallic, die als Geschenk beigelegt waren, kurzum, der Händler hat alles richtig gemacht, würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen.
