You get what you pay for. The only reason I got this is because the genuine part was out of stock. It does work, but it is cheap, crap plastic. It's a different feel, colour and texture to the original. The fitting is tight and really poor. I wouldn't recommend it if you have a better option available. But if this is the only option, go for it!

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung. Das Anbringen geht allerdings nicht immer gut von der Hand. Zum Original kann ich allerdings keinen Vergleich ziehen.

I'm using a canon EOS M50 MkII with the 49mm kit lense.Bare in mind that his lens hood has a bayonet fitting, so if you use it without filters it will fit straight onto the kit lense or any of the EF-M mount canon lense range, however you probably are going to be using CPL, ND & UV filters or other 49mm non-canon lenses etc, so you will want a screw in type instead. It's OK but I normally have a filter attached or an M42 lense with adapter so don't use it.Although it does it's purpose and is cheap, it's a waste of money, that's why I'm giving it three stars!
