Our boa loves this thing, it's real warm, not hot. Our boa is all over it, he likes to rest his head on it, or he'll wrap himself up on top of it. It's nice to see him happy. This stone is good for a large snake, it's dimensions are like 12"x7" and is suitable up to a 3ft or 4ft boa constrictor or python. The instructions say it's for Aquarium only but we have our boa in a huge wire mesh cage, so we put the rock on a smooth marble slab as it is not advised to place this stone on wood or flammable surfaces, though this thing never gets that hot, it's just better safe than sorry. This rock pulls only 10-15 watts, which is more economical than a 250 watt heat lamp. Though it is recommended that you do not use this as your pets only heat source, especially if you have a snake, you want to use a warming pad in another part of the tank as well, which will encourage your pet to move around his enclosure and make him/her more comfortable, this warming combination aids and helps your pet digest their prey, and keeps them active and happy. :)

Came in 2 days!!! One of the last things i ordered for my dragon and it came first. Beautiful, in box, works perfect. Only issue is I bought the wrong size, a large is LARGE trust me lol medium is also pretty big, i got the medium and i just needed a small. So just look at the size of each before you buy :)

Nos ha servido para todo el invierno, calienta bien.

J'ai déjà rapporté l'erreur sur l'annonce Amazone, le fabriquant indique 15w et non 50w. La chaleur est parfaite et ça simule bien une roche exposée au soleil.Si ça peut rassurer certain car j'ai beaucoup lu de critique à l'effet que la roche arrivait brisée, voir en petit morceaux ! Se ne fût pas mon cas, elle était très bien emballée et est arrivée intact ! (livré en rive-sud de Montréal).
