L'idée est bonne...remplacer des ventouses qui ne tiennent qu'un temps surtout en récifal mais hélas la qualité de fabrication n'est pas au rendez-vous. D'abord l'aimant n'est pas si puissant que cela ça tient sur du 5 mm mais sans plus. Ensuite on entend l'aimant flotter dans sa cage plastique et enfin cette même cage n'est pas monobloc mais à tendance à se décoller donc gros doute sur l'étanchéité et en eau de mer....Bref c'est cher pour ce que c'est. 11€ c'est abuser. Je teste tout de même . Je mets 3 étoiles pour l'idée. Si besoin je résinerai tout çaMise a jour: de la cochonnerie. les plastiques cassent est les aimants sortent de leur logement. pas du tout construit en qualité. Dommage

It works great, but the screw on hook part is pretty flimsy and snapped off. I had to attach it with epoxy glue, and I can't change the hook size anymore.

I have the UNS 45s *shallow* 5 gallon. It is only about 7" tall. Because of that the Nicrew submersible filter I got is placed at a horizontal orientation rather than vertical.I love the filter. I Haaaaaate the tiny suction cups on it. I think the filter being horizontal made it worse. The filter would fall off the glass all the time.This is where the mag clip comes in and saves my sanity. I drilled a small hole into the filter media housing. snipped off the hook part of one of the clips and thread it through the hole to attach the magnet. replaced the sponge into the housing and mounted the filter securely to the glass via magnet. It works so much better than the suction cups.
