I was just about to write a one star review, but then I read one review explaining. The tightness of all 3 bolts is tightened only with one screw. When the middle screw is tight all bolts are very tight. The point is that there is no explaination in the box and people will miss this and think the bolt are loose and can't carry a camera. Add a description please so people don't rely on reading others experience!

Everything with the product is on the small side. It does what it is supposed to do but due to short arms and attachments the reach and movements are quite limited. There is no instructions or information on how to connect the pieces so you’re left with guesswork.

The knob to make it loose or tight works well. Easy to change shape and direction.

You can never fix the 360 degrees articulating head in one position.very, very, very bad quality that is not worthy a cent.

There are lots of these to choose from, so I selected the cheapest I could find. Initially, I was a bit disappointed that the two ball-joints at each end of the arms (for attaching to the clamp, and attaching to the phone holder or camera) weren't tight enough. They seemed to rely on friction and it just wasn't sufficient. But I eventually realised something that nothing on this page and nothing in the box tells you: the single tightening bolt in the middle ALSO tightens to the two ball joints at each end of the arms. Very clever! So, the way to use this is to tighten it up enough that you can get everything exactly how you want it, and then tweak the bolt really tight clockwise and the whole thing becomes solid. The only consideration is the simple threads have no locking pin, so gravity can cause them to unscrew, depending on orientation. For lightweight tasks, though (like holding a phone), this is a really handy device.

The inner ring of one of the ballheads broke after maybe the 10th use. Then the piece was completely unuseable.Make a better purchase, maybe something that isn't this cheap.
