野鳥観察で愛用しています。コストパフォーマンスがとてもよく、この値段帯では格別ではないでしょうか。ストラップなので念のため移動中はカメラに手を置いていますが、安定感にも文句ありません。

I purchased this as on the first day of our caravan holiday I realised that I had left my camera sling at home! So it was straight onto Amazon, with a next day delivery to a parcel collection point in a post office less than two miles from where we are sited. I mean, really?Realistically, this only needed to see me out the week we are away so i didnt really want to spend a lot on a temporary fix. The one I have ( although its no good to me at home!) cost more than twice the price of this one and to be honest I wasnt expecting too much. However, in some respects, this one is actually better. The shoulder pad is very soft and comfy, and the strong webbing sling appears very securely attached. Once the size is adjusted to a comfortable length ( and there is a lot of adjustment available to get the camera comfortably on your hip) there is a neat sliding hook and adjustable keep to tidy up and secure any spare webbing strap. The main carabina attaching the sling to the camera is a robust design, and the secondary strap is the same narrower webbing and grip as used with the original canon neck strap and attaches in the same way ( a feature I like very much as, on my other more expensive sling, this is more like a bootlace than a strap and I was never entirely happy with how it fitted through the eye of the camera buckles). This strap fixes securely to the strap buckles on the camera body and serves as a 'reserve 'chute' to save your expensive camera and lens from fatal ground impact if for any reason the main anchor point becomes detached from either the camera or the sling. This secondary strap stays on the camera even when off the sling for tripod work. The quick release carabina on this safety feature makes detaching the camera fast and easy ( my other one has a small screw carabina that is impossible to undo with gloves or cold fingers!). I've now detached the old one from my camera and will be using this safety strap with both slings. When weighted with the camera and lens, it's a snug and secure fit without any biting into the shoulder. I carry my 90d fitted with a 70-200 usm 2.8f L ii which is a weighty combo but, even so, the sling keeps it comfortable. The only slight downside ( for me at any rate) is that the plate which fixs to the camera, on to which the sling attaches, is for screw mount tripod head. The plate on my other sling is a swiss-arca mount so I can unclip the sling and clip the camera straight onto the Swiss-arca head on my tripod without changing mounts. I have to stress here that this is only a different design of plate. It is in no way inferior in quality or finish and will do exactly what it is designed to do.However, if you have a screw mount tripod or maybe don't even use a tripod when your out and about then it's not ever going to be an issue. And even if you have a Swiss-arca head, it's really no big deal to unscrew this plate from your camera and fit the correct mounting plate. Less than 30 seconds I'd guess.Anyway, balanced against the cost of what I consider to be the great piece of equipment that this is, I'm certainly not going to knock a star off of the review just because the mounting plate is a screw on.All in all, it's a great sling that does its job very well for a very low price. What more can you ask?If you want a good quality, secure and comfortable sling that takes the pain out of lugging a heavily glassed dslr, but don't want to spend an unnecessary amount of money, you can't go wrong with this.
