Bought these for getting the 5th "golden" dose out of my mounjaro pen. I wasn't sure if these were needles based on the description, but the seller let me know they are.The needles are longer than the standard little screw on one's that come with the pen. I bought some swaps to clean the red rubber dam at the tip of the pen, as you do before screwing on one of the little needles on. I withdrew the medication, actually got 0.7ml when the dose is 0.6ml. I primed the needle as you do with the normal dose, flicked the side and pushed the plunger until some liquid came out. These needles are longer and it wasn't so painless as the little ones that come with the pen. Initially I had a little bump appear as I hadn't inserted the needle all the way, so changed site. I have been left with a little raised area on the first site, but the second I didn't get that. I've read that it's quite common to get this with the larger insulin needles, and it's also not uncommon to get a bruise.Next time I would buy 4mm needles rather than 8mm, but have got 19 needles left in the pack. It was easy to withdraw the last slightly bigger dose, so I'm pleased with my £15 investment on 20x needles and 100 swabs to get the last dose out that should cost £25!

Ideal for use with mounjaro or similar.Get a sharps bin and be responsible.
