Great costume for Edgar Allen Poe reading. Nice fabric. Fit as expected. I added a hoop skirt and it was perfect.

When purchasing the dress, I used the "suitable bust" and "suitable waist" measurements instead of the normal "bust" and "waist" measurements, and ended up ordering a size too big for myself. So please note that the dress is TRUE TO SIZE, and follow the NORMAL "bust" and "waist" measurements given by the manufacturer! I can't return/exchange it due to needing the product for an event in a few days, so I'll be possibly attempting alterations! Other than this user error, the quality and fit of the dress is wonderful! The zipper goes all the way up the neck, so make sure the neck measurements are accurate. The side lacing is good, but the ribbons provided are a little delicate so you may need to replace them. You will ABSOLUTELY need proper undergarments/petticoat for this dress to have the correct shape. I recommend a proper hoop skirt! The fabric is nice, but a smidge shiny. It is very soft and comfortable to wear, and not terribly thick so it has a lightness to it. I highly recommend this dress!!

Absolutely fantastic purchase. Quality is outstanding for the price. Looks like a million bucks. I cannot say enough about how much this pulled together my Nadja costume this past Halloween. Adjustable fit for the waist. Lovely details.

Well constructed- Gives the perfect creepy school marm look but doesn’t breathe well at all. Don’t think it would be smart of anyone to use with petticoats. Lady bits might die of heat stroke.
