I wanted a swim cap to keep my shoulder length, thick curly hair from getting in my face as I lap swim this summer. Ponytails help, but inevitably hair gets loose, and it annoys me.From my swim team days back in high school, I remember the only swim cap that I ever really liked was the one fabric one I had.Do these kind of caps keep your hair dry? Of course not. They’re made out of swimsuit fabric. Do they feel loads more comfortable than silicone or latex swim caps? Yep!Fabric caps are also a lot easier to put on, and a lot less prone to ripping on you.I ordered this particular fabric cap in black, size large, and it fit my 23” noggin near perfectly. If it went down over my ears another half inch, it would be even better, but it’s a close thing.The best part about this cap is it feels the right level of snugness around my forehead. It’s not so loose that it’s in any danger of falling off mid-swim, and it’s also not so constricting that it will leave deep cap lines on my forehead after an hour in the pool.I’m looking forward to working out with this thing!

I don't wear a swim cap to keep my hair dry but out of my face when I lap swim or rec. swim. Personally I don't care for a cap that does keep it dry because it doesn't breathe. Especially if the pool water is warmer my head tens to get too warm with that type of hat. Also, I feel that a fabric cap is easier to put on and kinder to the hair.This hat is well made, fits and works very well. It stays in place nicely. I like the fact that it has a wider band than the hat that I previously used because it seems to hold the hat in place better and is more comfortable. For the excellent price and quality it is a great buy!

Sizes according to the written description:M-XL: 24.02–25.20in / 58-60CMXL-3XL: 22.83–23.62in / 61-64CMActual size according to the label on the one I ordered:M-XL 56-60cm / 22-23.6inPresumably the description sizes were accidentally swapped from the smaller to larger, but neither of them match what's on the label regardless.And on top of that, now I've tried one on it's substantially bigger than what the label says anyway.And on top of THAT, 58cm converted isn't 24.02in, it's 22.3in. I can't be bothered to check the rest.So it appears that every possible aspect of the sizing is wrong and nobody CAN buy these, let alone should.

I ordered this swim cap in preparation for swimming but sadly have been really disappointed.The material is very unusual- I want to say it has a silk like feel to it; completely different to any other swim cap I’ve had before. Also it doesn’t sit very securely on your head at all- if I went in the water my head would be completely wet.Now I know swim caps aren’t a fashion statement and no one truly looks good in them, but this one definitely made my head look very strange indeed.Priced at £12.99 I would expect much better. This is sadly not going in my gym bag, nor would be something I could recommend.
