I wanted a hat to keep the sun out of my eyes and off my ears while I'm out hiking and gave this a try. It's true to size and fits my big ole noggin (7.5) just fine. The color is true and the material is lightweight and I don't think it's very breathable.The sweatband inside the hat is soft and works well the interior is lined with a mesh that allows air to pass through the vent holes on each side of the hat. The hat straps are sewn in which is a bummer as I rarely use them and the hat itself has an internal elastic bungee that can be adjusted at the back of the hat. The hat has snaps on the brim and sides to allow it to be "folded up" and while I don't care about fashion I didn't see a good reason to wear it that way (but its there if you like it).So I got the hat and it was folded super flat which lent itself to having creases. Those creases did not come out with a day of wearing it so I ended up handwashing it in cold water and that did the trick.Bottom Line: Nice hat for camping as long as you prioritize function over fashion.

These ones make a very good of this and hold well.The hat is a very light hat (for weight), the material is both thin and easy to carry / store as a result.Lovely colour, it's more of a khaki colour (but described as being beige) which works well for those hotter hot days.I liked the adjustment this hat has, it has the neck and head circumference adjuster.Cons:I ordered an XL (which should have fitted off their measurements) BUT this is very tight. I suggest ordering a size up to be safe.The brim is made of an odd material (feels almost foam like), I assume this is part of the waterproofing?Conclusion:A good hat, nice style and colour. I suggest ordering a larger size as this was a little tight for me.Thanks AMZ

This review is for the Zylioo Boonie Sun Hats Wide Brim UPF50+ Waterproof Hiking Hat (Standard, Large, Grey). This is a very roomy, lightweight hat. Great for large heads- even the smallest size is a size "Large" and very roomy. Very comfortable even wearing a bun or ponytail, and otherwise it does come down over the eyes nicely, which is what I was looking for. It's a soft, rollable hat that makes it easily packable. The fabric is a nice quality and feels like some of my better rainjackets I've had. The snaps and other hardware work well and the chin strap is handy if hiking where it might get suddenly gusty. This hat is similar in quality to one my SO has that cost times more, so I am very happy with the quality at this price point!

I am very sensitive to the sun so I have to have several for the times we do actually get sun in the UK. This hat looked ideal and on arrival it didn't disappoint in quality and design. The fabric is good and it’s a good thick construction unlike some flimsy ones I've had in the past.I don't really need the straps which I find annoying but they're easily trimmed so not a big issue. The fold up feature isn't really for me but its handy and optional so not an issue.The one issue I do have is that despite measuring my head and being bang in the middle of the large size the large I ordered is a little snug. It still fits but given I am in the middle of the size range then ordering a size up may be wide if you're in the middle or above in the ranges listed.

I wear a size 7.5 hat and most of Amazon's one-size hats are too small for me. I ordered this hat in the XL size (24 inch diameter) and it fits me comfortably. There is an elastic adjustment cord, but the hat fits me securely enough that I don't have to use that.The hat is made from a heavier fabric from most sun hats, so this hat is probably better for light rain or cold wind conditions than for hot sunny days.My main complaint is that the hat is shipped folded flat and arrived wrinkled and creased. Even after a few days of use, those ugly creases haven't gone away and I don't know if they ever will. US-brand hats that I have bought from Amazon usually don't have this problem, so it is an important defect with this brand.
