This was a hard no for us. The quality is in the cap, it does seem like its made well, but to be honest, my husband looked a little ridiculous in it. He said it was plenty comfortable, but we felt like there is just too much hat on the top. It looked like a bonnet when he put it on.He did like the back, which is completely enclosed and nonadjustable, but, at the end of the day, he won't be wearing it out in public.

Very good fit with a bit of give. The cap is not bulbous and was purchased for a more mature wearer who didn't want logos etc.

Good fit for my large head, very comfortable, not to tight, and made of soft cotton like material.

This is generally a very well made cap, with one minus point. All the stitching is intact, in particular around the inner elastic which gives the hat a slight give. In comparison, other hats I have tried look as if they have been made by a drunken blind man. This, on the other hand is a quality product, with robust fabric, symmetrical seams, and a firm brim. I chose the medium size in blue. The colour depicted in the photos in the description is accurate and best of all is solid throughout with no fading, or logos. The size is good, but it is quite a shallow hat, but because it is well made does stay on the head even in the wind. The brim is long enough to give plenty of shade, but not so long that it is intrusive.The only negative is that at first glance it appears that there are six equal air holes around the crown, but in reality on my hat, five of them are oversewn on the inside, leaving one tiny hole a the front of the hat for ventilation. For that reason together with the fact that the fabric is quite thick, I would not use this hat for use on a hot day, despite the fact that the description specifically mentions that the hat is useful to give sun protection and breathable because of ventilation holes.
