I didn't know these were a thing and as soon as I saw them I knew I wanted to try them out. I have a whole long raised garden bed filled with everbearing strawberries and so they're still in season for me, and I've struggled in the past with trying to keep the berries up off the soil. I have mulch down, but this works so much better. It allows for air circulation all around the berries and the plants in general. Helps prevent issues with molding!

I have a rather mature strawberry plants and my initial reaction was - nah, too small...won't fit, it'smfor younger plants.However, you don't have to close it completely - like in a picture - and it will fit my plants while helping fruit on the outside.As season is ending, I was going to put them away but then had a rather good idea of using them as a protection for newly planted bulbs. And they are perfect for it!I have birds and usually squirrels that keep digging up any freshly plant bulbs. This strawberry growing stand is perfect prevention from squirrels or birds. I happened to have just the right size pots but even if smaller, you can easily use them.I used couple of extra flat strips to cover the hole in the middle as well.So, out of season - great stands helping with protecting my bulbs, and in the season - they'll be helping my strawberry plants.Great buy and I have all the needed elements.

Strawberry season is long gone, so I won't be able to field test these until next spring, but they seem like they'll work pretty well.They arrive somewhat annoyingly packaged with everything stuffed into a plastic bag, so the first thing you'll want to do is make sure that you have all the parts. I got the 10 pack, so it came with 20 half moon "tray" pieces, 40 leg pegs, and 20 adjustable supports. The legs push into the holes on the underside of the trays until you hear a "click." Once clicked in, they're still easy to pull out, but in firmly enough that they don't drop out when you put the tray right side up. Each support uses 4 "leg" pieces, two per half moon tray. The straight supports slide into the slots on the underside of each tray and provide some cross-support, but also allow you to adjust the width of the opening for the plant without putting the trays in one at a time. Until I field test these, I won't know if this is helpful or not. I suspect it will be helpful if you get them on early enough, before the plant has fully leafed out.The quality of the parts is decent, but the trays themselves are much flimsier than I'd hoped for. This is fine while you're just dealing with leaves, but I would prefer them to be a bit sturdier for protecting and keeping the fruit off the ground. Again, I won't know how well they'll perform until I can test this on actual plants next spring. I'm also wondering how well these will stay put, since the legs are quite short, and if your strawberries fruit heavily, it might be enough weight to push the trays further down, especially if in a wetter year. With that in mind, I still plan to mulch around my plants before installing these. You could also use these for strawberries planted in a container, and I might try them that way as well. In the event these don't perform as expected for my strawberries, I'll use them as pot protectors to deter critters from digging in my pots, so either way, I'm sure they'll be useful in my garden.All in all, these aren't bad. Not as high quality as I'd hoped for, but not so cheesy that they're unusable. I'm looking forward to trying them out.
