J 35F Draken Zweedse Air Force 1989
De Saab J35 Draken ("Dragon") is een jachtvliegtuig ontworpen en gebouwd door Zweden, opvolger van de Saab J 29 Tunnan.
Het wordt gekenmerkt door een dubbele deltavleugel en kon de snelheid van Mach 2,0 bereiken vanaf de J 35D-versie.
Ongeveer 600 Draken werden in totaal gebouwd, tot begin jaren 2000 in gebruik genomen in 4 verschillende luchtmachten.
J 35F - Eerste versie uitgerust met radargeleide lucht-luchtraketten (230 exemplaren)

For lovers of aviation history the Draken is a must and it is indeed a well-made model. I could do without the huge number on the plane. I understand the reference, but I'd much prefer a standard operational day-to-day model.I like the OPO models. They are well made, affordable and detailed and I also like that most of the time the landing gears are retracted, giving an added illusion of flight.Attaching the models to OPO stand can sometimes be tricky though. The fit is very tight!
