a big set of felt buffing wheels and bullet shapes, cloth wheels, sponge wheels, buffer shafts, and polishing compound. I don't find the smaller felt buffing pads as useful as the large ones, but I think my technique may need practice. the wheels get traction, pull, then I get an undesired metal to metal, but that is just me. using a big buffing wheel on a bench grinder is better up to a point, but if you slip there your thing being buffer is shot across the room and possibly lost, so little buffing wheels don't do that.The value is good, this kit should last you a while. You only get one set of sponge sanders, but they are really coarse so you don't need a lot of that in a polishing set. It came in bags, so I sorted the parts and put them in the organizer for my other buffer kit, which was heavy in sponge sanding wheels...So every wheel I tried so far is still working, so I tried a mounted bullet, a screw on large felt disk, a cloth disk, and all of the sponge sanders, so I went through a large assortment of the items. None of the ones I used showed any signs of failure. The bullet tip had flattening of the tp, but I was leaning into that one, so that was me pressing that did that. The cloth wheel did some sheading as expected, but I saw no sheading from any of the felt wheels. The sanding sponges soften up a little, but they still had plenty of life left. Nothing flew apart, everything seems to be properly manufactured for the best quality. The polishing compounds were the typical stuff, but they are a little hard to use in the tubs. so I may peel the tubs off. I think you can warm or wet the compound, but I have not yet tried wetting, I mostly press a spinning pad in, but it throws more compound than is absorbed, so wetting might be the way to go. Still testing that. In the past I thought the paste was just wax, but the box for this set does state that water is an option, so it may not be wax after all.So it is a good kit for polishing your hard and soft jewlery metals.

This is a simple kit - no fancy boxes or packaging - with a lot of polishing tools and two small tubs of polishing compound.The polishing compound doesn't state the type - just hard and soft metals - but it does work okThe assortment of tools ranges from "Scotchbrite" abrasive type wheels to soft disks and felt fobs - covering a lot of applications and needs in one kit.You will need somewhere to store all the pieces after you open the bags - but I was just adding these to my existing storage for polishing supplies - I prefer the simple packaging.I consider all of these "consumables" like sandpaper - you use them up and how quickly really depends on the project - but these work as well as others and wear fine -Price is fair - these are all available in bulk (for less) but its actually nice to be able to get the assortment for a fair price - unless doing production work, I don't need 200 of one size sitting aroundNice kit - decent quality and convenient

I am just getting into resin and starting to polish/buff my pieces, and no matter how many countless Youtube videos I watch there's nothing like doing in person to really know what works, so it's nice to have a set that comes with so many options for around $20. I haven't really used the polishing compound yet because I can't get it out of the container it comes in not all the bits will fit in there. They always apply it on the sides in the videos I watch so I don't know how this container allows for that.The bits fit my off brand rotary tool with the largest collet it came with, 2.3mm.Tthey do slip out a little sometimes, but all the bits that came with the rotary tool come loose at times too so it might just be my tool.That being said, you still get a lot in this kit and I am sure I will get some much needed practice for a long while as I work my way through this kit.

If you have a Dremel tool, I'm hard-pressed to think of anything else you might need to buff and polish your project. This is a kit you can buy once and have everything you need for the rest of your life if you aren't using your Dremel for a trade, but as a handy tool to have on hand for the 1000+1 different things you can do better with the tool than without it.What isn't in the kit is anything you might use for grinding or surface prep. All these little mandrels and buffing/polishing accessories are used with the included rouge (I'll keep these two portion vials, but have my own polishing compounds) to bring what you are working on to a high polished finish.I'm so impressed with the quality and useful variety of the components included in this kit that I'll be adding additional task specific kits offered by this merchant to my Dremel tool kit.My value add for this review is to add a picture of the kit decanted into a storage box I had on hand for instances like this.
