I used these bone bridges and nuts to replace the old parts on my classical guitar, to lower the action and sweeten the sound when I re-strung the classical guitar recently. There are two things to know! First, they sound great and there is a big improvement! Great results! Secondly, these bone bridges and nuts are cut to a generic large size and each will need careful sanding down to fit exactly in your guitar. It took about 1/2 day to sand, polish, and fit both bridge and nut, followed by restringing and retuning the guitar. As I knew what to do and what to expect, this wasn’t a problem, but please be informed: it’s great sounding, it’s simple to do if you can already restring a guitar, but it’s not quick - these take some time and care to sand, and to do trial fits, before they will fit properly.

Non sono un liutaio professionista, ma volevo restaurare una vecchia chitarra classica di cui mi piace il suono. Fortunatamente questi ponti e sellette sono leggermente più spessi e alti del necessario, così, con tanta pazienza e carta vetrata, sono riuscito a ottenere le misure ideali. Il risultato mi ha soddisfatto, il materiale mi sembra davvero osso, lo si sente dall’odore della polvere ricavata dalla limatura. Il fatto che ci fossero due pezzi di ogni articolo mi ha dato sicurezza, dato che non sono un professionista, nel caso avessi sbagliato qualche misura avrei potuto rifare, ma non mi è servito; ad ogni modo terrò i ricambi per un’altra volta.

I was surprised at the quality of the saddles and nuts. Also surprised that it came with a couple of sheets of sandpaper to help fitting the parts. I am kinda shocked that the quality is so good for the price. 5 stars!
