Habe mir diesen Tonabnehmer für Akustikgitarren gekauft, da meine Gitarre kein internes Tonabnehmersystem hat und ich für Live-Auftritte kein externes Mikrofon benutzen wollte, da es immer Probleme mit Einstreuungen und Abstand zum Mikro gibt. Speziell auf kleineren Bühnen.Habe mir den Woody auf Grund von bisherigen Rezensionen auf Amazon bestellt.Päckchen war nach 2 Tagen da. Der Woody war in einen Stoffbeutel eingepackt.Das Kabel ist gute 3 Meter lang und solide verarbeitet.Der Tonabnehmer wird einfach in das Schallloch der Akustikgitarre eingeklemmt. Dies funktioniert bei Standard-Akustikgitarren problemlos.Bei meiner Parlorgitarre passt er jedoch nicht, da das Schallloch einen zu kleinen Durchmesser hat.Man könnte mit ein bisschen Geschick und Handwerk den Woody für den kleineren Durchmesser der Parlorgitarre anpassen, kann ihn dann aber nicht mehr für die Standard Akustikgitarren verwenden.Laut Hersteller ist der Tonabnehmer für Schalllöcher mit einem Durchmesser von 9,4 cm - 10 cm geeignet.Die Verarbeitung des Woody ist ohne Mängel und er sieht durch seine Holzoptik recht Edel aus. Er sitzt fest im Schallloch ohne zu verrutschen, dennoch kann man ihn im Schallloch drehen um je nach Klangwunsch eher die Höhen bzw. die Bässe zu betonen.Das Klangbild ist recht angenehm, keine Überbetonung der Höhen bzw der Bässe. Ich stelle trotzdem den Eq an der P.A. nach meinem Gusto ein und mische noch etwas Reverb/Raum dazu.Es klingt natürlich nicht wie eine im Studio aufgenommene Akustikgitarre, die mit 3 Hi-End Mikros abgenommen wird, dennoch ist absolut hörbar, dass es sich um eine Akustikgitarre handelt.Für den angebrachten Preis war der Klang absolut Live-tauglich, vor allem wenn noch eine komplette Band mitspielt. Eccellente prodotto ad un prezzo più che competitivo. Sia direttamente nell'ampli che nel mixer si comporta come deve. Suono ricco di bassi ma anche le frequenze alte si fanno sentire il giusto. Io l'ho montato fisso perché non volevo esporre la chitarra a possibili strattonamenti...Sto pensando di comprarne un altro per l'altra chitarra che ne è priva.In fondo con meno di 50 euro non esiste di meglio.Amazon la solita mosca bianca.

This pickup gives off almost perfect sound. It picks up only the sounds of the strings, and not too much tapping. An easy replacement if you can't afford a guitar with an internal pickup or need your IP repaired.Pros:- Long cable- No buzzing when gain is low- Sturdy- Fits in most Dreadnought guitars- Works well in Audio InterfacesCons:- Buzzing is bad when close to output device (maintain a minimum of ten feet away if you've got to turn the gain up)- Thin cable, should be thicker on at least one end- Can't fit into smaller sized sound holes, so pay attention to the dimensions- Lacks an EQ barOverall, it's a great pickup at a good price. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a temporary or even permanent solution to pickup problems.

Great sound hole pickup, love the sound and transferable to my guitar’s without having to fit invasive complicated pickups

Added to my Martin Guitar and I am super happy with it. Very warm sounding ( Not tinny at all ). My only suggestion would be if the cord had a female end and it attached to the strap attachment and a volume and tone control. But for the price Im super happy with it.
