Installatie met handgereedschap:

{b>Stap 1<b} Boor of vorm een gat, en pas de grootte aan volgens de aanbevolen diameter na de test. Schroef de zelftappende schroefhuls in het handmatige installatiegereedschap met de sleuf of het gat naar beneden gericht en de punt van het gereedschap mag het bovenste punt van het gat of de bovenrand van de sleufStap 2: Schroef de schroefhuls verticaal in het gat. Bij aanvankelijk schroeven in 1 tot 2 plaatsen, is het noodzakelijk om te bevestigen of deze afwijkt, indien van toepassing, onmiddellijk uit te schakelen en uit te lijnen. I used the product for creating a 4mm threaded hole in an aluminium casting. The reviews I read about tapping such a small hole were not positive. These are a more robust cheaper solution as there is a stronger small thread and no taps need be bought. The only drawback is that they don't contain a self locking feature, proper solid inserts have a sprag to secure them. If there was instructions* and a sprag they would get 5 stars may be I'm picky? *I found a useful video on you tube.

The product does say its M12 x 1.5 and it definitely looks that way. I was hoping to use it to reduce an M12 threaded hole to an M8 size and this is not a 'standard' M12 thread so doesn't fit. Standard M12 has a pitch of 1.75 not 1.5. Looks very well made and may come in handy for something else I guess.
