21 More Songs in 6 Days: Learn Intermediate Ukulele the Easy Way: Book + online video: 4

As a violin player and private lesson teacher, I was very interested in the ukelele as a portable means to sing and play a good accompaniament at the same time. I came across these books and have found them delightful. A few of my favorite features are as follows:1. Chord diagrams appear at the top of the page. When you are learning a new chord, it is so helpful not to have to turn pages to check your position.2. Strumming patterns are included. I have played from other books and sat for several minutes trying to find a decent strum pattern to just try out the song without a basic down, down, down, down pattern. While most songs can be strummed several ways, it is vert helpful to have a pattern at the top of the song page. This provides a place to start as well as a challenge.3. Finger picking is included too! Not only do you get to learn the chords, picked melody, different strums and melody/chord hybrid arrangements for solo playing, finger picking accompaniament is also included!4. The same songs are used a few times for different techniques. While you do get 21 unique songs, you also get a few songs repeated for the purpose of separately reading for chords, melody, solo, finger picking accompaniament. You are given the opportunity to become comfortable with a particular tune and then dig a little deeper and learn something new.To be honest, I have only just looked at the video lessons today but I am sorry I didn't do so sooner. I noticed that the songs are played with explanation of technique as well as fretboard diagrams appearing in the side margin at times. This is a very valuable resource and an incredible bonus value as this type of instruction is usually not included at this price. You pay for the book, but get so much more!

I am learning all the things I always wondered about. I've been teaching myself various instruments in the last decade. I am learning through this book the things that I missed and never understood. It's very practical because you get the videos with the book. I also think it's great to be taught by women for a change. That might be why it's so thorough 😁. Learning loads which will helps me understand music more and helps to play my other instruments.

GREAT and EASY for learning the Ukulele!! And FUN!

I play the ukulele for my own enjoyment, and as I do not sing I like to play the melody. The chapter on picking out melodies was helpful and easy to follow. The accompanying video was really good to play along with, and helped me with my timing and boosted my confidence. I have skipped some of the chapters on strumming, I will have to return to these later. So far my favourite chapter has been on solo ukulele with chord melodies. I have tried this before with no success but the book explains this very clearly, and the videos were very clear and easy to follow. I thoroughly recommend this book.

Just the ukulele music book "21 More Songs in Six Days" alone is an incredible learning tool plus you get access to the tutorial videos! This is almost like having your own Ukulele Music class. What I have especially enoyed working on is the 12 Bar Blues and improvisation. I love that there are pictures of the chords and where your fingers go, pictures of the different strum patterns, and ukulele tabs where you can play the tunes right away. Thank you Ukulele Sisters for putting together a music book that even a non musician like myself can figure out!
